Sometimes when downloading music, or importing a CD, track information or album artwork do not transfer into iTunes correctly.
iTunes offers users the ability to update or correct track information if desired.
Connect the iPhone to a PC or Mac via USB cable and open the iTunes application.
Note: iTunes may open automatically once the handset is connected.
Click Songs from the Music section in Library.
Click to select the track to edit.
Click the preferred field until it can be edited.
Make the desired edits and press the Enter key on the keyboard.
The track information is now updated.
In some instances, if album art does not transfer when a song is downloaded, or ripped from a CD, iTunes can try to fill in the missing artwork.
Click Albums to switch the iTunes view.
Click the Options icon, then select Get Album Artwork under Library.
Note: If prompted to log into the iTunes Store, click the iTunes Store link on the left menu. On the store page, click Sign In and enter the requested Apple ID and Password. Click Sign In.
Read the message and click Get Album Artwork.
iTunes will attempt to locate and download the missing artwork.
If successful, the artwork will be displayed.
