To view and enable the device accessibility options, tap Accessibility settings.
When finished, tap NEXT.
To connect your device to a Wi-Fi network, ensure Use Wi-Fi is ON and tap your Wi-Fi network name. If needed, enter the Wi-Fi password, tap CONNECT, then tap NEXT.
If a Wi-Fi connection is not available, tap NEXT.
Note: If prompted, tap SKIP ANYWAY.
The Hands Free Activation and the PRL update will begin automatically. Tap OK on each prompt to restart the device.
Once the device restarts, tap NEXT.
To copy your current setup from an existing Android device, tap to select Keep your apps & data, then follow the prompts.
To skip this step, tap to select Set up as new.
Note: If a reset was performed with Device Protection enabled, entering the Google account credentials will be required to continue.
A Google account is required to access a variety of Google services or to purchase and download content from the Play Store.
To create a new Google account, tap Or create a new account.
To log in to an existing Google account, enter the email address, then tap NEXT.
Note: Adding a Google account will automatically enable Device Protection. Device Protection uses your Google account to prevent others from activating your device if it's ever lost or stolen.
Read over the notice, then tap I AGREE.
Note: If prompted to Allow Google to regularly check device activity, tap the preferred option.
For device security purpose's, add a Screen lock.
Select the preferred option and continue.
Note: Select Not Now to continue without screen lock.
Note: The device will check for Firmware Updates. If an update is available, follow the on-screen prompts to install the update. Otherwise, tap OK.
The device is now set up and ready for use.
Note: If Set up from old device prompts, tap SET UP NOW, then tap the preferred option. To skip this, swipe the prompt to the left.
