From the home screen, tap Voicemail.
Note: If the shortcut is missing, tap the All apps icon and scroll to and tap Voicemail.
Tap No, thanks.
Note: Tap Show me to view additonal information about using voicemail.
To update new features on Voicemail, tap Update.
Tap Personalize now.
The handset will automatically dial the voicemail number.
Follow the voice prompts to set up the voicemail account.
Once the passcode, name, and greeting are set up, listen to the remaining instructions and tips.
Tap the red End button to end the call when finished.
Note: If the plans options message appears on the screen, tap OK or View details if desired.
Tap Welcome to Voicemail.
Note: This is a standard greeting message that also serves as an example of how voicemails will appear when they are received.
Tap the Speaker icon to turn speakerphone on or off.
Tap the Play button to begin playback.
Note: The Play button will turn to a Pause button when the message is paused. Tap the button again to resume listening.
Tap and drag the slider to skip to a specific part of the message.
Tap the Share icon and select the desired option to share a voicemail.
Tap the Trash icon to move the message to the trash folder.
To return to the Inbox, tap the Back key.
To permanently delete messages, tap Inbox.
Tap the Trash icon.
Tap Delete messages.
Voicemail messages are now permanently deleted.
To return to the Inbox, tap Trash.
Voicemail is now set up.
