Ensure that the other Bluetooth device is set as discoverable or in pairing mode.
From the home screen, tap the Menu key.
Tap Wireless & networks.
Tap Bluetooth settings.
Tap to check Bluetooth.
Note: If Bluetooth is already checked, skip this step.
If initiating the pairing from the Bluetooth device, tap Visible and follow the steps per the Bluetooth device's user manual.
If initiating the pairing from the handset, ensure the Bluetooth device is on and set to discoverable or pairing mode.
Tap Scan devices.
Note: Refer to the Bluetooth device's user manual for specific pairing requirements.
If Scan devices was selected, tap the name of the Bluetooth device once the search is complete.
If Visible was selected, skip this step.
If a Bluetooth pairing request appears, verify the passkey is the same on both devices and tap Accept.
If required, enter the passkey and tap OK.
Note: The default passkey for most Bluetooth headsets is 0000 or 1234.
Other devices may have other requirements. Refer to the Bluetooth device's user manual for device specific requirements. Check both the handset and the Bluetooth device for any prompts, and if required, enter the passkey on the device(s).
The Bluetooth device is now paired.
