Turn the device on by pressing the Power/Lock key.
Note: If the Hands Free Activation fails after 10 mins or five tries, the device will prompt to try again by updating the data profile. For additional assistance, see the Update the Data Profile tutorial. If the problem persists, contact customer care.
The Hands Free Activation process will begin automatically.
Once finished, tap OK.
The device will update the PRL.
The device will check for Firmware Updates.
If an update is available, follow the onscreen prompts to complete.
Swipe the lock screen in any direction to unlock.
The device is now active.
Follow the prompts to set up the device.
