A master reset will result in the loss of all data stored on the device including 3rd party applications. This type of reset should only be used as a last resort after all other troubleshooting steps have been exhausted. It is highly recommended that you complete a backup of the device information and disable Device Proteccion before proceeding with the steps in this tutorial.
While holding down the Volume Up key and Bixby key, press and hold the Power key.
Release keys when the Android System Recovery appears on the screen.
On the Android system recovery screen, press the Volume Down key to scroll to and highlight Wipe data/factory reset.
Note: The Android system recovery screen may take a minute to load after releasing the keys.
With Wipe data/factory reset highlighted, press the Power key.
Note: The previous Google username and password will be required to set up this device if Device Protection was not disabled.
The device will restart.
The master reset is now complete.
