Ensure that the other Bluetooth device is set as discoverable or in pairing mode.
From the home screen, tap the Menu key.
If needed, tap the switch to turn on Bluetooth.
The handset will search for devices automatically.
If initiating the pairing from the Bluetooth device, tap the handset name and follow the steps per the Bluetooth device's user manual.
If initiating the pairing from the handset, ensure the Bluetooth device is on and set to discoverable or pairing mode.
If the handset does not automatically detect the device, tap Scan.
Tap the name of the Bluetooth device once the search is complete.
Note: Refer to the Bluetooth device's user manual for specific pairing requirements.
If a Bluetooth pairing request appears, verify the passkey is the same on both devices and tap OK.
If required, enter the passkey and tap OK.
Note: The default passkey for most Bluetooth headsets is 0000 or 1234. Other devices may have other requirements. Refer to the Bluetooth device's user manual for device specific requirements.
Check both the handset and the Bluetooth device for any prompts, and if required, enter the passkey on the device(s).
The Bluetooth device is now paired.
